It is the middle of August, I am in Latvia, Riga, sitting at home jobless, just recently graduated from college. Looking for job, applying for any cook position what comes up, unfortunately not receiving positive responses. It's already rough economical times, more jobless people than available jobs. At the same time my older sister was jobless and hers relationships with hers boyfriend were falling apart. She was spending time with hers little son Kristofers and recovering after rough relationships. So, there was nothing what kept us there, no job, no studies, nothing! As our Mom were already in Cyprus, we start to think, why we couldn't be there and enjoy the lovely weather and Mediterranean sea as well!? It was more tempting than anything! In few days we had plane tickets in our hands!!! Woop Wooop!!!
Now it is early, dark and fogy August morning, it is 27th of August! It's time to collect our luggage and go to Rigas International Airport. My father comes from our village to collect us from our Rigas apartment and give us lift to the airport. Airport. At this moment, we are thinking that we are going to Cyprus only for little while, not for ages, maybe even only for holidays. Me, My sister Anna and hers son Kristofers saying 'goodbyeš's' to our dad and our step mom. I am too excited, so not feeling sad or emotional at all, I just can't wait to get in the plane. This is going to be my first flight as well, never been in the plane before!  This is it! Checking in and going to take our places in that huge thing what will fly us to Cyprus. I am a bit nervous, because it is my first flight in my life. Plane takes off... we are in the air. This moment I will never forget! I am so excited as little child, just can't stop to smile. To calm me down, I order glass of wine and we cheer up with my sis. First flight is to Vienna Airport, Austria. Little bit more than an hour in the airport and our second flight calls us to Larnaca, Cyprus.
When our plane landed in Larnaca International Airport, my life turned 360 degrees around! Will never forget that feeling, that heat when plane's doors opened! I looked at my sister, she looked at me and we both were smiling like idiots. You should see those faces, smiles till ears, seriously! I think I never felt that happy, so excited! For God sake, I was on "tropical" island! It was end of the August, probably the hottest time in Cyprus. Little Kristofer weren't so excited, for him it was just hot day! As he was only four years old, he just thought it should be like that, and that's it!  We came from rainy, foggy and cold Latvia, so imagine what we were wearing! Jeans, shirt, jumper and over all jacket! As soon we received our luggage we moved to exit, to get out of crowd and try to find our mom, who suppose to welcome us there. There she is, standing in Hawaiian shirt with lovely tan and huge smile on hers face. Seeing each other after a while is such a great moment. When hugging is finished we are going to our mom's car to go to our new home. As we are leaving chilly Airport building straight away we start to sweat like pigs, we have to get rid of our clothes! We are standing in the middle of airports parking and we can't find mom's car! The heat is killing us, and there is no shade to hide, sun is exactly above us! That's it, we give up, while our mom is gone to look for a car we are stripping down and changing our clothes there in the parking! Awkward moment, but something to remember and have a nice laugh! As we learned few minutes later, our mom did park hers car in the bus parking, so it's been removed to airport police parking. She paid 40 euro fine and we got our car back! First Cyprus adventure written down in our story books. This basically is all. This is how and why I came to Cyprus. The end of this story is here, but more interesting stories will be uploaded soon somewhere here in my page, so don't be shy to dig deeper! ;) x

It's been 27 days since I don't smoke!!! I am strong and I can prove it! lol To be very honest, I did had few fags on saturday, it is just impossible to go out, drink and to not smoke! But so far so good! And to be more honest, it is really good and easy feeling when I don't smoke! Feel much more energetic and powerful and not so heavy! Also it is 11 days since I don't drink coffee!! I could say I am getting the same effect what I got from quiting smoking! My health improves indeed! So, since I don't smoke and drink coffee I am planning to do some charity and donate my blood. Only thing I have to reduce or much better would be to stop it at all, it is alcohol! What to do that I love it? I enjoy being tipsy and enjoy the taste of alcoholic drinks! Recently I reduced my alcohol level in me, because of my economical situation. No money, no honey! He he! At least I saved few days of my life! lol Well, guys take example from me and STOP to take those toxic smokes in your lungs! BREATHE & LIVE! :)
Good luck! :)

_I’m not a very articulate person when it comes to verbally expressing things that goes on inside my mind. There are voices in my head that never stop, invading me even in my sleep. I found out that the only thing to make them stop is to get them all out of my system. So, I am trying to get rid of them this way - creating something, putting my thoughts on paper or web!
